AGRIN Co. Ltd. is a Turkish consulting company, which provides services on agriculture rural development and natural resources. Overall project management, institutional strengthening, participatory planning, need assessment, impact assessment, qualitative/quantitative surveys, monitoring and evaluation and training/skill transfer are integral parts of majority of the consultancy services which are provided by the firm for domestic and foreign client agencies.

Since its foundation in 1991, AGRIN’s major involvement has been to provide consultancy services for the execution of Technical Assistance components of 42 internationally financed projects in Turkey and overseas of which 21 are financed by the World Bank/IFAD, 5 by European Union (EU), 2 by World Commission on Dams (WCD), 1 by UNEP/GEF, 1 by USAID and 2 by private sector. Out of these projects, 7 were executed for the Kyrgyz Republic Moldovia and Azerbaijan and Cyprus. At present Agrin is involved in execution of 2 projects in Turkey and 3 projects in Cyprus.

Therefore, the company has proven experience in the execution and/or coordination of projects in line with the requirements of the international funding institutions and relevant government organisations.

Firm’s extensive involvement in macro projects financed by such institutions, has created a capability of;

·         Provide a coordinated work among the team members.

·         Follow-up the individual and overall progress of the work.

·         Guidance to experts in completion of their reports.

·         Overcome logistic problems of any kind, and

·         Providing liaison between the team members and the client.

Organisation and administration of workshops, focus group meetings, local and overseas academic, non-academic and short term training programs, as well as study tours is one of the fields, which AGRIN is highly experienced.

The firm has access to a large portfolio of national and international experts from various disciplines who are recruited temporarily when and where needed.

AGRIN is a member of the International Federation of the Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), European Federation of Consulting Associations (EFCA) and the Association of Turkish Consulting Engineers (ATCEA), and is registered with eight international funding agencies including the World Bank. The firm is also a member of the International Network on Participatory Irrigation Management (INPIM).
