Agrin organized a study tour in Turkey for 7 Azeri experts to introduce to participants organizational aspects of various sectors, their production processing, technologies applied, marketing business, sorting, packaging, storing and quality control of products etc. For this purpose one of the key organizations selected was the Organized Industrial Zone of Mersin and Çukobirlik Agricultural Sales Cooperative, which thousands of cotton, soybean and groundnut producers are members of. As to private sector operations some Turkish enterpreneurs were identified forming an example of both small and medium enterprises, as well as bigger operations.
