The Azerbaijan Republic, Agricultural Development and Credit Project

Agrin has organized a study tour in Turkey for 10 Azeri experts to increase their knowledge on Information and Advisory Services consistent with international standards. The training program was carried out in 3 regions of Turkey (Central, West and North West) and covered a range of institutions in Ankara, İzmir, Bursa, Yalova, Tekirdağ and İstanbul provinces.

 The training program was organized in cooperation with public extension delivery organizations, public media, private media, research institutes, universities, private consultancy firms, agribusiness firms dealing with extension, marketing organizations and farmer organizations. Participants visited 23 institutions throughout the study and met and discussed with more than 70 local experts on different subjects.
