In 1998-1999 a German Company in association with AGRIN was contracted by EU to establish a project management unit in Ankara, for the overall management of the MEDA Programme in Turkey.

Social Risk Mitigation Project (SRMP) is a US$ 500 million project with three following main sub-components: i) Institutional Development Component, ii) Conditional Cash Transfers Component, iii) Local Initiatives Component.

The global objective of this Project is to bring the Turkish Cypriot Community closer to the European Union through Community scholarships. Under this Project Turkish Cypriot students and teachers are awarded grants to spend up to one academic year in a university in one of the Member States, offering them additional educational opportunities to raise their knowledge in a technical field.

AGRIN was awarded a contract by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Kyrgyz Republic, to establish a computerised Financial Management System and to prepare the “Financial Management and Accounting Policy Manual” for the Irrigation Rehabilitation Project. The manual was prepared in line with international accounting standards and the World Bank’s requirements. Additionally, AGRIN has trained the project staff for the operation of the Financial Management System.

Agrin organized a study tour in Turkey for 11 Azeri experts to introduce to participants organizational aspects of various business, related to textile sector production processing, technologies applied, marketing business, sorting, packaging, storing and quality control of products etc.

Under the Private Farmer Commercialization program in Moldova, which is financed by USAID, Agrin organized a 10 days study tour in Turkey for 12 Moldavian experts to increase their knowledge on growing fruits and vegetables in open fields, tunnels, and greenhouses, as well as post harvest processes and marketing of products. The training program was carried out in Southern region of Turkey and covered about 19 institutions in Adana, Mersin and Antalya provinces.

Agrin has organized a study tour in Turkey for 10 Azeri experts to increase their knowledge on Information and Advisory Services consistent with international standards.

Agrin was entrusted a contract by the State Hydraulic Works (DSI) to organize and administer a training program for the relevant staff of Water User Associations (WUAs), for the purpose of obtaining a licence to work as a "Heavy Current Worker". For this purpose, Agrin formed a cooperation with the Electricity Technologies and Training Centre (located at Soma) of the Turkish Electricity Authority, (TEIAS). Seventy eight electric technicians from different WUAs, as well as DSI regional offices have attended to this program, which lasted 4 weeks. Participants who were successful at the final examination received a certificate of "Heavy Current Worker".

WUAs were visited in İzmir, Manisa and Aydın provinces of Turkey to get a clear understanding of their establishment and operations.

Overall objective of the project is to improve the future opportunities and living standards for youth and children in South-Eastern Turkey. The purpose of the project is to provide supplementary education opportunities for youth and children which will increase social inclusion and cohesion in pilot areas of South-Eastern Turkey. Agrin is executing this project in cooperation with European consultancy firm Niras IC sp.z.o.o from Poland and an NGO TKV from Turkey.

The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is as follows: To increase the efficiency of veterinary policies through sectoral multi-annual planning, raise awareness among stakeholders and strengthen their commitment to achieve the defined targets, ensure the financing of required actions, improve the animal health and welfare situation in the country, contribute to alignment with the EU Acquis in the veterinary field and the fulfilment of the relevant closing benchmarks set for Chapter 12-Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Policies, as well as Turkey's international obligations in the animal health field.

The project is designed to provide electronic identification and registration of ovine and caprine animals in Turkey as well as to promote public awareness on this issue. Primary target groups will be are farmers, keepers and animal owners. Project team will also be responsible from training of MoFAL staff on awareness raising, related EU legislation etc. Consortium will also assist the Beneficiary for the organization of the electronic eartagging operation of 24,2 million animals during these 2 years. A comprehensive communication strategy will be developed and implemented.

The overall objective of the project is “to promote an inclusive labour market with opportunities for disadvantaged persons, with a view to their sustainable integration into labour force and combat all forms of discrimination in the labour market”There are two associated purposes of this TA project, ie, to increase awareness on the problems of disadvantaged groups and combating labour market discrimination against them; and to increase the institutional capacity ofthe MOLSS Department of Employment Policies as well as that of thesocial partners in this area. Agrin is executing this project in cooperation with European consultancy firm Niras IC sp.z.o.o from Poland, State Fund for the Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities from Poland and an NGO TKV from Turkey.

Technical Assistance for Regional Industrial CThe overall objective of the project is to contribute to the competiveness of the Turkey’s Textile Industry. The project objectives have been designed to (1) establish a system that will improve the quality standards of the cotton ginners in the targeted regions in South East Anatolia and (2) improve the collaboration between enterprises. ollaboration in Cotton Fibre Manufacturing
